The car is based on the popular TL01B 4WD chassis from Tamiya (although the car is not made or endorsed by Tamiya) and so full spare parts are available - if anything gets broken in a crash etc, just fit the standard Tamiya parts to the car! Completely ready to run and good value, this car includes a 7.2v battery and a mid-speed charger as standard. This car is blisteringly fast for a ready to run electric car - far faster than most makes we've tried! Notes from the Spannerman: I've had one of these on test and it has passed the Collie test without anything breaking or becoming damaged - this test involves a hyperactive Border Collie chasing the model around the local park for 6 batteries one after another. After the car had been chased, bitten, rolled and bounced on it's roof the dog was exhausted, and the car was covered in mud but unharmed! Having dismantled many parts of the car for examination, I can confirm that it is a Tamiya TL01B Baja Champ complete with Blackfoot Xtreme wheels and tyres and a pre-painted Wild Dagger body. Completely unauthorised by Tamiya of course but a very good car nethertheless. Furthermore, our Saturday lad in the shop has repeatedly hammered this car in the shopping precinct to demonstrate it, and all he's managed to wreck are the tyres! This item was formerly called the "Kimax Crusher" Now with 2 hour charger as standard Car supplied may be YELLOW or GREEN livery depending on stock. The dual deck carbon fibre chassis and aluminium components give the PRO Colt car even greater stiffness and durability, the smooth, free running drive train along with the sealed ball bearings and adjustable ball differentials allows this car to reach staggering speeds! The car comes complete with transmitter and all required radio gear, receiver and steering servo. All you need to get going is a battery and a charger!
