The Alfa Romeo MiTo is a three-door super mini that was released in Milan on June 19th, 2008. The car was designed to compete with the Mini Cooper and upcoming Audi A1 vehicles. The car was named after MiTo after the location where it was designed, Milan, and the location where it was manufactured, Torino. The MiTo was designed on the popular European Fiat chassis. The vehicle features a new "Alfa DNA" system, which allows drivers to change the car setting depending on the driving conditions. The three settings offered with the new "Alfa DNA system" are Dynamc, Normal and All-Weather.

Click picture for larger view.	The 2008 24 Hours Nurburgring had Volkswagen debut a contingent of new Scirocco GT24 race cars. They went on to earn an impressive 1-2 finish in their inaugural race. The car was later updated with a new 2.0-litre inline 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that was notable for being powered by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), which reduced CO2 emissions by 80%. This machine again demonstrated its superb performance, capturing the AT (alternative powertrain) class titles in 2009, 2010, and 2011. The Tamiya R/C car model is produced in 1/10 scale and the featured chassis underneath is the TT-01 Type E (Tamiya's 4WD easy to build chassis). The RC model depicts the Scirocco GT24-CNG which raced in the 2011 24 Hours Nurburgring. Honda originally was a manufacturer of motorcycles; however in the early 1960s, they began venturing into motorcar racing. The S360 and S500 were the first 4-wheeled vehicles produced by Honda, and in 1965, the top of the line S800 sports car made its debut. Honda offered the vehicle as a coupe or roadster. The vehicle featured a high revving engine that reached 70hp and the 710kg lightweight vehicle could reach speeds of up to 160kmh.

It was developed to compete in the FIA GT3 Class and it was entered into the 2009 24 Hours Nurburgring endurance race. There were four of these R8s lined up on the starting grid and all four completed the grueling race. One of the entries even won the GT3 class with an impressive 2nd place overall finish. The main differences are the wheels and suspension arms, to ensure scale width for the different years of car. In 1975, Walter Wolf, a wealthy Slovenian-Austrian-Canadian businessman purchased Frank Williams Racing Cars and developed Wolf Racing. The F1 team featured the legendary Wolf WR1 racing vehicle, which was driven by Jody Scheckter. In 1977, the Wolf WR1 made its debut at the Argentine Grand Prix. The WR1 vehicle finished in 11th place. Throughout the 1977 race season, Scheckter drove the WR1 to three victories and an overall 2nd place finish in the driver's championship. Mclaren: In 1989 F1 banned turbocharged engines. Despite this, the McLaren Racing Team continued to dominate the sport. For the 1990 season, McLaren entered the MP4/5B, an advanced version of the 1989 title-winning MP4/5. This car received extensive refinements to improve internal airflow and overall aerodynamics, which led to the development of a more contoured body. It was powered by Honda's RA100E 3.5 liter, V10 engine and had a six-speed transmission which was transversely mounted in front of the rear axle. The 1990 season ended with 1988 World Champion Ayrton Senna reclaiming his World Championship title with 6 GP victories for McLaren. Ferrari: The Ferrari 643 was used for the 1991 Formula One season with hopes of ending McLaren's dominance of the sport. Driven by team driver Alain Prost, it proved to be one of the top machines of the season. Although the 643 faced numerous difficulties including the deterioration of the Ferrari-Prost relationship, the 643 finished the season with a credible 8 podiums and earned Ferrari 3rd place in the constructors' championship. With Honda helping Williams claim the 1986 championship, Lotus opted for Honda's powerful RA166-E turbocharged V6 engine for the 99T. The 99T featured an electronic Active Suspension system which allowed both drivers to continually adjust the car's settings to compensate for the changing conditions of the track, speed, steering, and the weight of the car. Ayrton Senna went on to take victories at the Monaco and Detroit GPs for Lotus and finished the season in 4th position in the driver's standings. Derek Gardner sought to enhance braking and cornering performance by reducing the size of the drag-inducing front tires while preserving contact patch area through the use of 4 tires, thereby creating the only 6-wheeled machine in F1 history. It took part in actual races beginning with the Spanish GP in 1976, and drivers J. Scheckter and P. Depailler went on to drive their cars to a 1-2 finish at the Swedish GP to prove the incredible potential of the P34. At the final race of the season, the P34 appeared before Japanese fans at the inaugural Japanese GP held at Fuji Speedway. F1 race cars often have race-specific modifications, and the No.3 Tyrrell P34 driven by J. Scheckter at the Japanese GP was distinguished by a triangular net guard fitted on the air funnel and large wingtip panels on the rear wing. The race was a battle for the championship between Ferrari�s N. Lauda and McLaren's J. Hunt and drew a great deal of attention both within Japan and around the world. The weather was fair on Friday and Saturday, but conditions were worsened by rain on Sunday. Although the race finally began at 3PM after a long delay, championship contender N. Lauda quickly retired. The lost excitement was brought back by the performances of the Japanese drivers and P. Depailler's Tyrrell P34. From his 13th place qualifying position, Depailler overtook the field to briefly lead before a tire puncture dropped him back to finish the race in second place behind M. Andretti's Lotus. The F60 started off the season slow, but has gone on to win first place at Round 4 and scored points in every race since. The F60 has taken three 3rd place finishes, one 2nd place finish and a 1st place win at the Belgian Grand Prix. After 12 races, Ferrari held the third position in the Constructors standings. This Civic is a three door hatch back which uses a different chassis and internal layout than its Japanese counterpart. JAS Motorsport, an official Honda customer racing partner, developed this special version to compete in various racing events. 58467 CASTROL CIVIC: The fifth generation Honda Civic (EG) was first released in 1991. It featured larger dimensions and a more aerodynamic body than its predecessors. This vehicle went on to be enlarged to a 5 door design which formed the basis for the Rover 400 / Rover 45 series of cars. 58505 VW SCIROCCO: The 2008 24 Hours Nurburgring had Volkswagen debut a contingent of new Scirocco GT24 race cars. They went on to earn an impressive 1-2 finish in their inaugural race. The car was later updated with a new 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that was notable for being powered by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), which reduced CO2 emissions by 80%. This machine again demonstrated its superb performance, capturing the AT (alternative powertrain) class titles in 2009, 2010, and 2011. The Tamiya R/C car model is produced in 1/10 scale and the featured chassis underneath is the FF-03 (Tamiya's 3rd generation Front-Wheel-Drive chassis). The RC model depicts the Scirocco GT24-CNG which raced in the 2011 24 Hours Nurburgring. The car is raced in co-operation with Nissan Motor International Ltd. This new chassis, designated TA06, is the sixth design in the TA series which go back almost 20 years. A new supremely balanced design, the TA06 features electrical drive train (motor / battery) centrally mounted with the Radio/ESC mounted on either side. Tamiya's new patented "Dual Drive" system features hybrid technology driving the front wheels via a belt and the rear by shaft (as in many leading slot car brands) - this gives a performance improvement over either full belt or full shaft drive. Click picture for larger views.	Tamiya started the modern touring car standard with the TA-01, which was first released in 1992. This 6th generation Tamiya 4WD touring car chassis kit places a focus on optimum weight distribution when paired with brushless motors and light weight batteries. This new generation 4WD machine was also created using input from the World Championship TRF team. The battery pack and motor are positioned along the centerline of the slim monocoque frame and the Dual-Drive system features belt-driven front and gear-driven rear wheels to provide efficient, yet sharp power transfer. The front suspension can be assembled as an IFS setup with inboard dampers and rocker arms optimized for short reversible suspension arms or a standard outboard damper set up. By using the IFS layout in the front you are able to use Tamiya sports car and touring car body sets with low slung noses. With front and rear gear differential units also included, this chassis offers more customization possibilities and an extended maintenance cycle. The body mounted on this standard spec TA-06 is the Ferrari 599XX. In 2009, Ferrari unveiled the 599XX, an extreme circuit-only machine incorporating a number of innovative technologies taken from Ferrari's racing experience. This machine featured exceptional performance as well as advanced electronics to help the driver record the best lap times possible on the track. It also featured extensive use of carbon-fiber material as well as a 5,999cc V12 DOHC engine capable of 700 Horse power/9,000rpm matched with a 6-speed manual transmission. It had a stylish, aerodynamic body and the "ACTIFLOW" system which controlled airflow around the machine to provide increased down-force without extra drag. Sumo Power Company are a British company, and have sponsored the Nissan GT-R in the 2010 FIA GT1 World Championship. The car is raced in co-operation with Nissan Motor International Ltd.

This new chassis, designated TA06, is the sixth design in the TA series which go back almost 20 years. A new supremely balanced design, the TA06 features electrical drive train (motor / battery) centrally mounted with the Radio/ESC mounted on either side.

Tamiya's new patented "Dual Drive" system features hybrid technology driving the front wheels via a belt and the rear by shaft (as in many leading slot car brands) - this gives a performance improvement over either full belt or full shaft drive.

Also, for fast pit stops, the battery can now be accessed without removing the body, and the IFS suspension layout is carried over from the TA05-IFS where it proved extremely good in competition.
