Needs no more introduction, other than to say that like the real thing, Tamiya's Mini is Front Wheel Drive. (It's suspension is softer too!). This model of the Mini Cooper replicates a rally cross vehicle as used in the early 1990s. It features extended wheel arches and is dechromed (i.e. no bumpers are molded to the body shell, although of course an internal bumper protects the chassis as on all Tamiya cars). Ferrari's super-exclusive car, built in 2005 and sold to only 29 elite customers for a price of 1.5 million Euros, is now available for all as a Tamiya R/C car.

Unveiled in December 2005, the Ferrari FXX is based on the Enzo, but has been developed by the company's racing factory. The 6262cc V12 engine provides over 800ps output. The FXX incorporates technology derived from F1 racing cars, enabling gear changing in less than 100 milliseconds, putting this car in the same class as F1 circuit machines. Owners of the car are allowed to take part in test-driving and developing future racing technology.

Introduced at the 2004 Paris Auto Salon as the successor to the popular Ferrari 360 Modena, the F430 made quite a splash. While retaining a similar aluminium space frame chassis to the 360, the F430 features a tight and compact body that clearly exhibits the F-1 influence on Ferrari design. It has a new generation, 4.3 litre V8 engine with 490hp output, making it a truly supercharged road car. Impressive specs like a maximum speed of 315km/h and 0 to 100 acceleration in 4 seconds flat round out the profile of this luxury super car. Volkswagen Beetle - M04L
The Volkswagen Type 1, or more commonly known as the Beetle or Bug, was produced from 1938 until 2003, and is still one of the most beloved cars of all time. As a small economical "People's Car" built to pre-war specifications, the Beetle's simple design proved to be extremely reliable, with its rear-mounted, air-cooled flat-four engine and suspension system withstanding even combat conditions of WWII. Its distinctive aerodynamic shape was the source of its now famous "Beetle" name, and the round shape also inspired such monikers as "bubble" and "turtle" in various countries around the world. Idolized in popular culture since the 1960's, the car has made numerous appearances in movies such as The Love Bug and children all over the world will recognize the yellow Autobot "Bubblebee" from the Transformers series of comics and cartoons. The original Beetle was finally replaced by the New Beetle after an amazing production run that spanned 65 years from it first launch.

The 2007 model year saw the release of a re-engineered MINI, which many have unofficially dubbed as the Mk.II MINI. Although it looks similar to the first generation MINI, it uses completely new body panels and also features such cosmetic changes as repositioned turn signals and new front grille. The Cooper S is the top-of-the-line model and is powered by a turbocharged 175hp 4-cylinder engine mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The engine also has a unique Over boost function that pumps out more torque when it is needed, giving the car performance to match its sporty image

Tamiya presents the 1/10 scale R/C model of the Vodafone AMG-Mercedes C-Class, which won the first two rounds of the Deutschen Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) 2006, Hockenheimring and Euro Speedway. The Mercedes C-Class 2006 comes with a fully finished body, with paint and markings pre-applied, and is mounted on the user-friendly TT-01 chassis.

One of four 2006 model Mercedes C-Class cars racing in this year's DTM, the Team Vodafone AMG-Mercedes features a flashy red and black color scheme. The driver is German Bernd Schneider, DTM champion in 2000, 2001 and 2003. With exactly half of the DTM left to go, Schneider has made a very strong showing so far, winning the first two rounds to put himself in the top spot of the Drivers Classification.

TamTech-Gear GT-01 Porsche
New varient of the TamTech Gear chassis gives a 1/12 scale Porsche as a kit car.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This car requires a regular ESC (plugs may need to be altered) a TTG1 Battery and a mid size servo with a standard sized crown. The standard Acoms servo is too large, the mini-Carson servo is too small. For this reason we are offering this kit only in kit-only form - we are unable to offer a deal package to suit it. We are offering Tamiya's special servo and ESC as an option to go with this kit. You would also need a TTG1 battery and a radio set, plus a charger.

Tamiya now presents this car as an R/C assembly kit in the TamTech-Gear series on a brand new chassis. This newest vehicle is in the same scale and colouring scheme as the original R/C car from 30 years ago and marks a departure from the buggy and truck styles of previous TamTech-Gear releases.
